Past tense


Past tense
Past tense is to tell the events or incidents at the part time. Used:
-       When the speaker thinks of an activity or state at occyrred and complete at specific time in the past.
-       For a non-fact in the present or future time.
-       To refer a single event on the past.
-       The part habitual
The simple past tense = is used for describing acts that have already been concluded and whose exact time of occurrence is known. Simple past tense is formed for regular verbs by addinged to the root of the words.
The pattern:
(+) S + Verb II + Complement
(-) S + did + not + verb II + Complement
(?) Was/were + S + Verb II + complement + ?
Example:
+ He walked to the store
-He did not walked to the store
? Did he walk to the store?
Past Continous tense: is kind of tense that is used to describe an event or an action which was happening in a certain time in the past .
The pattern :
(+)  S + was/were + not + verb-ing + complement
(-)  S + was/were + not + verb-ing+ complement
(?) was/were + S + verb-ing+ complement+?
Present tense
Is the form of language used to refer to an event,transaction ,or occurance which is happening now (or at the present time),or an object that existed, at a point in the time before now or with future tense,an event ,transaction or occurrence that has not yet happened ,is expected to happen in the future,or might never happen.
Example:
“ Has the
1.      5 bus arrived yet?” Yeah,you missed the bus.”(past tense)
2.      “ The bus is too far away. I can’t make it.”(present tense)
3.      5 bus across the street . I won’t make it.” (future tense)
